Community Development

FORGE’s top priority is developing thriving small communities.

Providing capital to start local businesses is just one way FORGE benefits the region. For instance, FORGE was responsible for the creation of the Huntsville Farmers Market, and has assisted Boone County Independent Living in renovating apartments for their residents.

Given today’s difficult economy, we have established an emergency loan fund for individuals just struggling to get by. These loans are for necessities like car repairs, mortgage payments, and utility bills. They do not come from the investment loan fund, but rather from donations from our generous members. To donate, please contact the FORGE office.
